Previously on The 502, Deputy Holmes travelled up-the-line and hears from the testimony of an eye-witness to the murders.
"I'm not buying what Magnum is shoveling," says Holmes. “A third brother is a false flag."
"Why would you say that?" says Sanchez.
"A third brother from the duck clan?" says Holmes.
"I thought there was only two?” replies Sanchez.
"He runs a legit grain farm,” says Holmes, "a migrant worker named Joyce says she saw how the mayor died.”
"She said she woke up early to start the last leg of a long journey," says Holmes. “Said this was the place."
"He died where?" questions Sanchez.
"Under this tree from what she said," says Holmes.
"What about the sound of gun shots?" questions Sanchez.
“Strangled, gun shot was the sound of a car backfiring..." Holmes lowers his voice. "And, she said something else....your brother...where's he been?"
"I'm guessing still in jail," says Sanchez. "Get to what you want to say."
"Joyce took a photo" says Holmes. "before he pounced on the mayor, it's blurry but that's him."
“My step-brother?" says Sanchez. "I haven't seen him in years."
"Boss, if your brother is involved, then I have to ask..." says Holmes.
Sanchez interrupts Holmes, "Hold that thought!" says Sanchez. "The storm chaser."
"Good morning boys!" Magnum cheerful.
"Make it quick," growls Holmes.
"Wow, Holmes, you need to go back to that spa," replies Magnum. "I'll make it quick, just thought I'd stop in and inform you that The 502 has been sold." says Magnum.
"Seeing as though the ATM is closed and you're busy doing police work, I'll leave you to figure out to whom." Magnum chuckles and flies away.
