Previously on The 502: Mayor Koch is shot in the back outside of his apartment, rushed to the hospital, dead on arrival. His murder follows the killing of the longest serving overlod in the neighborhood. The Sherrif and his deputy arrive on the scene of the mayor's murder.
This is deputy Santonio Holmes, he rose the ranks with an inquisitive cop having solved crimes on Principle St. "This ain't good sheriff?" whispers Santonio.
This is Sheriff Sanchez. He moves slow, deliberate, thinks three times before making a decision and the only thing he loves more than being a Sheriff is food.
"Jesus...I'm going to have to cancel my dinner at the Bistro Mexi!" grumbles Sanchez.
"The mayor!" exclaims Sanchez, "Whatta think?" Holmes responds "The 502. I'm guessing."
Sanchez nods his head and mutters "Didn't that just change hands?"
"The entire neighborhood has!" sighs Santonio.
Sanchez and Holmes scour the nearby lot and find what might be evidence.
"Wood chips!" exclaims Holmes.
Sanchez picks up the wood chip and questions: “More green space is being chewed up?"
"Yeah, more so since amalgamation!" replies Holmes.
